IFCJ had around 500 users and they were using SQL and SharePoint On-prem Servers for file collaboration, content sharing, Reporting, and automated workflows. They had issues in their SharePoint On-prem server with cumulative updates and it caused issues in their workflows set up On-prem. They had approval workflows. Due to these issues and complications in SharePoint On-prem, they had a requirement to solve the issue and commence migration to SharePoint Online SAAS service and Office 365.

Solution

Cloud 9 stepped in with their subject matter experts in SharePoint and they resolved the issues with the cumulative updates on SharePoint On-prem and fixed the workflows. They brought the SharePoint operations back to normal and made an overall assessment of their On-prem resources, analyzed all the SharePoint workflows and other components, SQL Server databases, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Cloud 9 provided processes and solutions related to migration.

Results

Cloud 9 experts worked with IFCJ Employees gathered their absolute requirements, designed swim flow diagrams, created Power BI analytics reports of their current Infra architecture, showed how they can access different SharePoint online sites for different geographical solutions like Israel and Canada. Provided Microsoft best practices, recommendations, and planned the Migration.

Cloud 9 setup their SharePoint Online foundation architecture, landing sites, and gave access to IFCJ. Migrated their workflow to SharePoint Online integrated it with Power Automate and Microsoft Flows, setup notification alerts via email, created approval planners.

Cloud 9 made sure that all the client requirements are satisfied, made them happy, and validated all SharePoint processes were working fine and brought them back on track for business.
